At Alimony, we believe a pair of jeans can carry a message: that women are not a punchline, that queerness and gender
expansiveness are worth celebrating, and that fashion can be
a tool for funding real change.

With every collection, we aim to grow a network of artists and wearers who understand that style and
activism are stronger together-and that the word "alimony" can be reclaimed as a symbol of autonomy,
pleasure, and power. Our hope is to bring community together and support under represented communities through collaborations and fundraising events. Twice a year we host collaborations with local artists in San Francisco to feature their work alongside our styles in an effort to combine fashion and art.

We try to design and produce with as little impact to our planet as possible.
Our back patch is made from the bark of cork trees. The bark is safely harvested every 9-12 years and does not harm the tree. While the bark is growing back, the tree absorbs 3-5 times more CO2.
The metal buttons on our jeans are made using less chemicals in production, making them a little better for the planet.
Each label in Alimony is made with recycled polyester helping to reduce plastics.
All 5-pocket jeans are made without rivets for better recycling.
Indigo fabric dyeing is done with low chemical and low water.
Fabrics are made with recycled cotton and lyocell (a plant based cellulose fiber) making it sustainable, soft and strong.
